Formed in 2023 in Denver, CO this theatrical slowcore band comprised of Sam Murphy (guitar, vox), Jeremy Mock (guitar), Liv Ericksen (bass, vox), and Scott Hale (drums) has been ripping it up in the DIY scene in Brooklyn, New York. My friend Laurent (bassist for Eighth House) mailed me two phenomeal mixtapes and the album-titled track "Anything Can Be A Hammer" was the opening track to one of the CDs. I love this album. It reminds me of Unwound and deathcrash. They blend soft, dreamy slowcore elements with some post-hardcore energtic sections.
