Formed in 2023 in Denver, CO this post-hardcore/slowcore band comprised of Sam Murphy (guitar, vox), Jeremy Mock (guitar), Liv Ericksen (bass, vox), and Scott Hale (drums) is heavily involved in the DIY scene in Brooklyn, New York. My friend Laurent (bassist for Eighth House) mailed me two phenomeal mixtapes back in 2025 and the album-titled track "Anything Can Be A Hammer" was the opening track to one of the CDs. I love this album. It reminds me of Unwound and deathcrash. They blend soft, dreamy slowcore elements with some post-hardcore energtic sections. I've read some interviews with the band and they seem cool and focused on the performance element of music. I'd love to see them live.
